Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has had a major impact on the global tourism industry, forcing consumers to adapt their travel habits and preferences. The aim of this research is to identify new behavioral patterns that have emerged post-pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on consumer behavior, including in the tourism sector. This study examines changes in consumer behavior after the COVID-19 pandemic. The main changes investigated in this study include increased interest in domestic tourist destinations, preferences for nature and outdoor tourism, and increased awareness of health and safety protocols when traveling. These changes signal a shift in the dynamics of the tourism industry, forcing industry players to adapt to new consumer preferences and develop strategies that are more flexible to emerging trends. Travelers are now choosing to travel more sustainably, with a focus on safety, cancellation flexibility and environmental sustainability. This study highlights the need for the tourism sector to adapt its marketing and service strategies to these changes in order to retain and attract consumers in the post-pandemic period
